Examination achievement PL1

  • Form of examination: examination in form of partial achievements
  • Examination Frequency: Examination only within the course
    Written exam (90 minutes) covering the content of the lecture Supply Chain Management. The grade of the case study results from the weighted grade for the term paper and the presentation. In order to participate in the Supply Chain Management exam, the case study must be completed.

Evaluation of grades

All partial module examinations have to be passed. The module grade is the weighted average of the partial examination grades according to the following weights:

50% written exam, 50% term paper and presentation

  • Supply chain design
  • Demand planning
  • Integrated production and distribution planning
  • Inventory management in supply chains

Case Study in Supply Chain Management:

In the seminar, the students write a term paper on current topics in supply chain management. In addition, the students will also present their results in a final presentation.

Competencies / intended learning achievements

Upon successful completion of the module, students will be able
  • to assess decisions in supply chain design,
  • to select and evaluate forecasting methods,
  • to compare inventory management policies,
  • to evaluate and deal with current topics in supply chain management.
