Contents

The course is based on the program offered by the Virtual Academy of Sustainability and provides students with the opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of sustainable business practices for companies.

In business management practice, the necessity of integrating social, ecological and economic concerns is widely recognized. The course summarizes the current state of development of sustainable business management and in this way conveys practical expertise and design options in companies.

The contents of the course have been produced by members of the Commission for Sustainability Management in the Association of University Teachers of Business Administration. The commission brings together 120 academics with research connections to the topic of sustainability.

The event is guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were adopted by all member states of the United Nations in September 2015 with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In particular, the following SDGs will be addressed:

SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth.

SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure

SDG 12: Sustainable consumption and production

SDG 13: Climate action
