The students are able
  • to name matrices and reinforcing fibers and reinforcing structures
  • to explain the processes autoclave and hand lay-up, preform technology and liquid composite molding, winding technology and tape laying, semi-finished products and thermoforming technology and compression molding
  • to see basic interrelationships that work across processes and to apply physical process models
  • to analyze economic questions
  • to propose concepts for material recycling
  • to evaluate process understanding and the analysis of the interdependence between material and process property
