Der Vortrag/das Kolloquium besteht aus einem Vortragsteil (20 Minuten) und einer fachwissenschaftlichen Diskussion (bis zu 20 Minuten) zum Thema der Bachelorarbeit.
Evaluation of grades
All partial module examinations have to be passed. The module grade is the weighted average of the partial examination grades according to the following weights:
Written work 80%, lecture 20%.
In order to pass the module Bachelor thesis, both the written Bachelor thesis and the colloquium must have been graded at least 4.0.
Contents
Depending on the type of task and the chosen subject, selected contents of the respective subject are taught. In general, the following points are included:
- Familiarization with the topic and the current state of research/technology
- Planning of topic processing
- Development of a problem solving approach - documentation of the problem solution
- Final presentation of the work
Competencies / intended learning achievements
The students
- are able to work independently on a chemical or process-technological-bioprocess engineering task of an experimental, constructive or theoretical nature under the guidance of a teacher
- are able to identify, formulate and solve problems in a fundamental way, combining theory and practice
- have an understanding of applicable techniques and methods and their limitations
- have the ability to apply their knowledge in various fields in a responsible manner, taking into account business, ecological and safety requirements, and to deepen this knowledge independently
- have an understanding of the non-technical effects of engineering work,
- receive the key qualifications required for practical engineering work (social competence, methodological competence, self-competence, ability to act)
- can especially present the results of your work in a lecture.

Requirements for attendance (formal)
To be admitted to the bachelor thesis, at least 150 LP must be completed and the entire research work must have been completed.
The colloquium can only be accepted after passing the written bachelor thesis and has to be held shortly after the announcement of the passing.
