Competencies / intended learning achievements

The students have learned to independently work out an advanced mathematical topic on the basis of given literature using scientific methods. They are able to write a scientific Master's thesis in the chosen field of (mathematical) specialisation.

Requirements for attendance (informal)

Depending on the choice of topic, different courses from the Bachelor's programme or the Master's programmes of the Department of Mathematics may be required. The requirements will be announced together with the announcement of the courses.
