The module examination consists of a bachelor thesis and a colloquium as a separate examination part. The bachelor thesis should show that the student is able to successfully complete a task within a given period of time independently and according to scientific methods and to present it in writing. With the colloquium, the student should show that he or she is able to present the results of the Bachelor thesis orally in a meaningful form.

Examination requirement

Written thesis and colloquium as partial examination. Individual work. Even in the case of group work, the individual contribution must be recognizable from the thesis. In the socioinformatics programme, the socioinformatics topic must be confirmed by the programme coordinator.

With the Bachelor's project the student shall show that she/he is able to solve a problem in the field of computer science with guidance in a fixed time frame. Furthermore, the student has to show that she/he can present the results of the work in a thesis.
