Competencies / intended learning achievements

Successful students will
  • understand the development process for software in the context of the typical architecture of automotive applications, the relevant requirements and standards, and the cooperation between OEM and suppliers,
  • understand the basics of the model-based approach for development, verification, validation, and test, and partially, to be able to apply it on simple examples,
  • understand the need for domain-crossing co-operation across different, and know means to deal with this challenge,
  • understand the specific needs and challenges for industrial-grade integration of development and operation in automotive systems.
