Evaluation of grades
The grade of the module examination is also the module grade.
Basics of architectural photography (basics: optics, camera technology, location, light, directing people, image processing, retouching). The technical basics enable students to take architectural photographs which reproduce the object in documentary form, taking location/context, architectural concept, spatial effect and any necessary plans into consideration. Discussion and technical examination of architecture as elements and modules in an urban context, which are worked out on-site (field trip), according to appropriate themes, workgroups, urbanistic situations and on the basis of plan materials /maps.

Desired learning outcomes:
Students who successfully complete this module are able to,
- easily photograph and document architecture and buildings in an urban context and to hold and represent a suitable opinion photographically as well as in the thematic examination of urban architecture and its spaces.

Are provided according to the course topic. Basic knowledge of photography is not necessary. It is recommended that students have their own digital camera (wide angle) and tripod to use during the course.
