Contents

The module deals with general questions from the history and theory of architecture and discusses their relevance to the design process. Consolidation of historical theoretical basics.

Students develop their judgement through the analytical examination of buildings, texts and artefacts on an aesthetic, argumentative and factual level. They are able to describe architectural phenomena in a linguistically appropriate way.
