Evaluation of grades

All partial module examinations have to be passed. The module grade is the arithmetic mean of all partial examination grades.


Contents

  • The lectures expand on and consolidate what was learnt in Technology and resources III. The planning techniques learnt are applied in their own project. Technical installations become an integral part of the student’s own building planning.
  • The aim of the project is to learn integral planning approaches and to apply them in their own project. After completing the module, students should be able to independently plan building service installations and integrate them into building planning in the depth of a preliminary design.
  • Students work on the task in cooperation with the subject areas Building construction III, Interior Design, Urban Architecture and Construction and Material
  • The project is accompanied by lectures and exercises which are coordinated with regards to contents in the participating subject areas

Desired learning outcomes:

Students who successfully complete this module can,

  • integrate heating and sanitary engineering in their own project
  • select small ventilation systems according to needs and integrate them into their own project
  • appropriately select energy supply systems for buildings from the aspects of ENEV (Energy saving ordinance) and renewable energies and implement them in their own project
