Basics of architectural design in an urban context:
  • The city as a model: urbanity as a phenomenon and theory
  • The city as a system: city and territory, roads and places, texture and monuments, closed and open buildings, hierarchy of public and private spaces, municipal function and urbanistic form, principles of building and planning law
  • Urban elements: park, quarter, street, square, apartment building, plot, house, courtyard and garden
  • Typology of a city house; scheme, structure and appearance
  • Methods and instruments of urban analysis
  • Representation methods of urbanistic design
