Competencies / intended learning achievements
The students will be able to
- put an axis into operation with a PLC.
- interpret a rotary encoder signal and connect the sensor to the PLC.
- program a PLC.
- model an axis (with MATLAB / Simulink) and design its control loop with the help of the model.
- dimension and design an electromagnet.
- dimension, solder and test an analogue PD-control loop circuit.
