- Arc welding (MIG, MAG, TIG)
- Laser beam welding
- Electron-beam welding
Competencies / intended learning achievements
The following expertises will be promoted:
- Assess the weldability of components
- Basic understanding of industrial fusion welding
- Specify fusion welding processes for safe and economical application
- Knowledge of the microstructural changes in weld joints, and especially in the heat affected zone, resulting from various welding processes
