  • reproduce in-depth fundamentals of thermal process engineering
  • describe and characterize thermal separation processes
  • demonstrate and explain the application of the separation processes
  • justify and evaluate the selection of technical apparatus
  • design the apparatuses for the basic procedural operations and to know their advantages and disadvantages

The students are able to

  • select technical apparatus
  • determine process engineering key figures
  • calculate advanced separation tasks
