  • Details of the examination (type, duration, criteria) will be announced at the beginning of the course.
    The laboratory is considered passed by participation in all experiments and if all laboratory reports have been submitted correctly and on time.


Visit of a gas and steam as well as a biomass powerplant. Evaluation of experiments in power plants.

Competencies / intended learning achievements

The students will be able to apply the theoretical knowledge from their lectures on thermodynamic cycles of powerplants and turbomachinery to the experiments. In the lab, the students will be able to analyze and assess components of power engineering systems.
