The students are able:
- to work with characteristic numbers for describing acoustical problems
- to describe different acoustic rooms as well as the therein applicable measuring methods
- to characterize the different acoustical measurement methods
- to understand the basic principles of structure-borne sound measurements
- to discuss different sound radiation mechanisms
- to describe the influence of material and design on sound radiation
