The students are able to:
- describe current framework conditions and processes in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles
- reproduce the production sequence of a commercial vehicle
- name the functional groups of a commercial vehicles and understand their function
- explain the impact of legislation, customers and globalization on product complexity
- describe current approaches to deal with product complexity
- describe the ramp-up management process and the used tools.
- analyze and compare global commercial vehicle manufacturers.
- develop and present proposals for dealing with current challenges in commercial vehicle production.
