Der Kurs ist Teil des Kurses [MAT-14-11-K-3] und wird in geblockter Form als vierstündige Vorlesung mit zweistündigen Übungen in der zweiten Semesterhälfte angeboten.

Begleitend zu dem Kurs wird ein Programmierpraktikum angeboten: [MAT-14-11BP-K-3].

In this course the basic concepts and algorithms for the numerical solution of problems from Analysis are discussed:
  • approximation theory, interpolation of continuous and differentiable functions by polynomials or spline functions,
  • numerical integration: interpolation and Gaussian quadrature,
  • non-linear and parameter-dependent systems of equations.
