Contents
Treatment of the basic concepts and algorithms for the numerical treatment of problems from the modules [MAT-00-01-M-1] and [MAT-00-02-M-1]:
- Approximation and interpolation theory, spline interpolation, least squares approximation, parameter fitting, numerical integration,
- Numerical methods for linear and nonlinear systems of equations: iterative methods, fixed-point method,
- Eigenvalue problems,
- Numerical solution of optimization problems: local (gradient methods) and global methods (stochastic methods).
